How long does it take to get a complete protection package done to my new vehicle?
Depending upon the amount of prep work that is necessary, typically a protection package including paint sealant, rust proofing, undercoating and fabric and/or leather guard can all be done within one day on a new vehicle. If it is raining or snowing at the end of the day we recommend that the vehicle remain in our shop overnight in order for the undercoating to harden.
Can I wait until later to have the protection package applied to my new vehicle? (The dealer recommended I get it done right away.)
The advantage of having a protection package done to a brand new vehicle prior to it being driven for any length of time on the road, is that the undercarriage and the exterior paint is not exposed to road grime, industrial fall out or other contaminents due exposure to the elements. It is indeed better to have a protection package applied to a vehicle in the newest condition. Warrantees will apply up until the vehicle is one year old. But the recommendation is that it is done as soon after delivery as possible.
Why do I get swirl marks in my paint after I wash my car?
Some swirl marks that you see in your paint are caused because of a previous polishing or waxing of the vehicle in which the wrong type of pad or a dirty pad was used. Swirl marks can also be caused if, when polishing, the appropriate RPM was not set. Other "swirl marks" that appear on a vehicle may in fact not be swirl marks but the way the sunlight reflects off of the paint giving the reflected appearance of a circular or a spiderweb-type formation. However the typical swirl marks or buffing marks that appear as a result of a vehicle not being polished or properly glazed can be removed through professional polishing, glazing and sealing.
Why does it appear like my hood and roof are more faded than the rest of my car?
It may indeed be the case that the hood or the roof has oxidized at a more rapid rate than other surface areas of the vehicle due to the fact that the hood, roof and trunk are the most directly exposed area to sunlight – causing oxidization. An other factor for premature fading of the hood is due to heat generated from the engine, and combined with the exterior elements, will accelerate the oxidization of the paint. This can all be corrected with a properly applied paint sealant put on the vehicle when new.
How do you get the smoke smell out of a used car?
Often by simply using non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning agents we can remove the smell of the smoke by shampooing and using mild deodorizers in the upholstery, as well as injecting cleaning agents that will detoxify the interior through the interior vents with the assistance of compressed air. In extreme cases after detergents and deodorizers are used to clean the vehicle, an ozone machine can be applied which oxygenates the inside of the vehicle killing all bacteria in a natural process. The vehicle needs to be left for a complete day and the ozone machine is an additional service that can be done in the case of extreme bacterial or organic odors.
How do you clean the mags or wheels?

What can I do about the tree sap on my car?
The process for removing anything topically from a vehicle’s paint should always be to start with the mildest solution possible, getting stronger depending upon need. So in many cases some tree saps can be addressed through a mild soap and water dilution. In cases of certain tree saps that have actually bonded to the vehicle's clearcoat, a more rigorous approach needs to be taken. Actual tree sap removal solutions can be purchased through automotive stores. However in the majority of cases, a professional detailing involving proper chemical agents used in a presoak process, followed up by polishing and glazing using a hardening agent/sealant/wax as a finish is necessary.
How often should I wash my car?
You can wash your vehicle as often as you wish. Keep in mind that using soap or car wash detergent can, over time, cause a build up on the paint surface that causes it to appear dull. This build up will need to be removed through a comprehensive process included in a deluxe detail that should be scheduled twice a year. We recommend that you only use proper car wash soap that is well diluted in cool or lukewarm water - never hot water.
What’s the difference between hand waxing and polishing the paint?
Just as it sounds, hand waxing is simply the application of a topical wax treatment to a vehicle’s paint by hand, not using any rotary or orbital polishing equipment. Hand waxing is effective as a short term topical process to enhance the shine and smoothness of the vehicle’s finish and can give some minimal protection from oxidization and paint fade. The benefit of polishing the paint is that all residual soap and other foreign topical products can be removed from the paint surface, and indeed from the pores of the clearcoat of the paint by heating up the paint through the RPM of the polishing pad.

At the same time, our prices remain very competitive with all detail services.
